Glanusk Lodge is situated amongst beautiful landscaped gardens, in the heart of Glanusk Park known as the

“Jewel in the Usk Valley”.

It is sited next to the location of the original mansion which was demolished in 1956, therefore considered to have the best, commanding views of the Estate and area. The garden surrounding Glanusk Lodge is a renowned wedding venue.

Glanusk Lodge is sunny and light with plenty of space inside and out. There are expansive lawns for games of cricket or croquet, and many private, quiet spots to lie down and read that book!

The River Usk is just a few minutes walk away and guests are welcome to explore the park and wander the tracks and roadways.

The spacious, airy drawing room has comfortable sofas and an open fire and views over the parkland. French doors open onto a paved terrace and the tiered lawns beyond, the perfect spot to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the sunset. This is your private garden

Bedrooms

Garden Cottage offers two comfortable bedrooms, making it an ideal retreat for families, couples or friends looking to escape to the countryside. The double bedroom features a luxurious king-size bed, while the twin bedroom provides two single beds for a restful night’s sleep. With a peaceful setting and welcoming atmosphere, both rooms offer a relaxing space to unwind after a day exploring the beautiful Brecon Beacons.

Kitchen

The well-equipped kitchen at Glanusk Lodge provides everything you need to prepare meals for family and friends during your stay. Featuring a traditional four-door Aga, available from September to April, alongside a double electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer, it’s a practical space for everything from leisurely breakfasts to delicious group dinners.

Bathrooms

With four bathrooms serving seven bedrooms, Glanusk Lodge offers practical convenience for families and larger groups staying together. Spread across the Lodge’s two floors, the bathroom facilities help make getting ready for the day or winding down in the evening easier for everyone. Whether you’re preparing for a day exploring the Brecon Beacons or returning after a long countryside walk, you’ll have the comfort and convenience you need for a relaxing stay.

We have had the most wonderful weekend here. Such a cozy house in the most beautiful surroundings. A very special 70th birthday celebration for Peter, shared by four generations & our lovely dogs! We shared stories and played games, sat around the fire and made special memories to last a lifetime. Thank you very much, we have loved it!
